About me
I was born and raised in the beautiful seaside town of Genoa, Italy, where I studied for a degree in Modern Languages and Journalism, specializing in psychology and sociology.
After spending a few years in Switzerland, I moved to London, a city that I have made my home and which provides the setting for much of my writing.
I work as a manager of a wellness and beauty center, and as beauty consultant for prestigious brands of cosmetics. I also love fashion and art, areas closely connected with the world of aesthetics.
I have always been a hungry reader and consumer of books of all kinds, and I fell in love with the fantasy genre after a chance reading of the timeless classic The Lord of the Rings.
My true passion, however, is still writing:
“I think I held a pen before walking. Despite new technology, I’ve always been fond of the good old pen, scribbling notes on used travel tickets, handkerchiefs and even worn pages of old diaries. It’s the only way I’m able to capture and bring to life the ideas that are constantly running through my head.”
I began writing at school, producing essays, articles, term papers on the humanities, and also collections of poetry. I then continued with more technical writings in the fields of aesthetics and cosmetology. However, the idea of writing “a real novel” has always been on my mind.
Ecliptic Saga is my true debut. It’s a urban fantasy-meets-science fiction series for young and adult readers.
